Welcome to Rail Relics Today 07/21/2025 Like everything else these days, U.S Postal rates were recently raised. As of July 13, the price of a First-Class Mail Forever stamp increased from 73 cents to 78 cents. This is part of a larger set of price changes for USPS mailing services, which are expected to average a 7.4% increase. Of course, this leads me to raise my shipping fees as well. As of today, first class shipping is $5.00 and Priority Mail is now $10.50. Also, for those who haven't heard the latest railroad mega-merger rumor, here it is, Union Pacific and Norfolk Southern are in early talking stages. Now you have to ask yourself, where does this leave the CSX? A marriage with BNSF? |
