Welcome to Rail Relics Today 07/03/2026 Happy 250th America! A happy 4th of July to everyone. Minus the extremely hot days, I hope everyone is enjoying their summer weather outings. After our January disaster of having to move out of our house in May, repairs completed, I'm still unpacking boxes and putting items back in place. To add to my bad luck, shortly after we moved our furniture back in, I ended up breaking my left arm. Not all news is bad news though. I'm pleased to announce that I recently closed a deal on a very large key collection. This collection of over 300 keys belonged to a former Frisco railroad switchman. As well as the usual suspects (common keys), there are many rare keys in the collection. I told myself to forget about listing the keys in alphabetical order. Having to balance my personal issues along with working on my website, it will be a slow process listing all the keys. My plan is to just grab a handful of keys at a time and list them. For collectors who browse my website often, I will note here, on my Home Page the key pages that have been updated. As always, happy hunting! |
