This past July, our Postal System increased the price of a first class stamp from $.63 to $.66. Also, our nation's PO system started a new service, which combines First Class Mail and Ground, calling it Ground Advantage. My sister in North Carolina mailed a card in early July and it took almost 4 weeks to arrive. The new Ground Advantage method has been slowing the mail down. Once the PO corrects the bog-downs in their hubs, our mail being sent and delivered should return to a timely manner. For impatient collectors who want a faster delivery time, I recommend Priority Mail. Priority Mail gets delivered on Sundays and is a more reliable shipping methold. For a few extra dollars, its worth it to some. As always, Happy Hunting!
